Ente Certificazione Macchine (ECM), as Notified Body (NB 1282) to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, performs the conformity verifications required to affix the CE Mark (ATEX) to equipment.
Carry out the conformity assessment procedures described in Annexes III, IV, V, VI, VII and IX of the Product Groups and Categories Directive.
The services provided by ECM are as follows.

• EU Type Examination according to Annex III of the Directive;
• unit conformity assessment in accordance with Annex IX of the Directive;
• quality management system audits and product compliance audits according to Annexes IV, V, VI and VII of the Directive;

ATEX 2014/34/EU Guidelines

We accept ATEX certification applications that omit testing by attaching a test report from an accredited testing laboratory (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025 or ExTL).
